You've made great suggestions, but I don't have time to complete them. Now what?
For
clients merely seeking a consultation, we will leave you with a "to do"
list to make your home more appealing to buyers and Real Estate Agents. If you are
feeling that you are not able to complete the work on your own, you may
hire us to complete the work. This service includes overseeing projects
from detailed cleaning, painting, assisting with the purchase of
furniture pieces and the staging itself.
Why do I need to make repairs to my home if I am moving? No one will notice!
Although
not every home needs repairs, we have found that buyers who have been
looking at potential homes for a while DO notice smaller details such
as a bad paint job, cracks in the ceiling, a stained kitchen counter top
or outdated bathroom fixtures. Simple projects such as these can be
changed inexpensively and make your home stand out from the
competition. You may decide to complete only the suggestions we make
regarding furnishings, de-cluttering and accessories, but we will
always advise you on the obvious repairs that make your home more
appealing.
What if our home is empty?
Empty
homes typically do not show as well because buyers are unable to
visualize what it would look like with furniture. Accent Home Staging will choose proper furnishings and accessories for your
home and will work within your budget to either stage the entire space
or small vignettes that will suggest to the buyer the "idea" of the
room. We will provide furniture resources for your home until the house is sold.
