Accent Home Staging & Interiors began in 2003 as Accents by Amy. Accents by Amy was a full service interior decor and redesign business specializing in residential decorating. In 2006, owner Amy Powers fell in love with the idea of preparing homes for the market. In 2007, Accent Home Staging & Interiors began and has evolved into a competitive Metro-Atlanta Real Estate staging business and interior decor firm.

Amy has been involved in the Interior Decorating field for many years. Her interest in becoming a Home Stager began when she realized the opportunity to partner with sellers in the sale of their home - fast and for top dollar. She has had a life long passion in redesign and specializes in decorating using tools and resources the homeowner has in their home, costing them much less than an expensive and full Interior Design service.
Amy has 27 years in Theater as an Actress, Director and Set Designer. She uses her skills in stage decorating with her home staging projects alike. It is a fine art to take a set and turn it into a believable environment for telling a story. Home staging is similar. it is the art of taking a home and selling it to buyers from a visual and aesthetic perspective. She has a knack for romancing audiences and buyers.
She is constantly refreshing her design skills through research and continuing education. Amy has a strong passion for staging design, curb appeal and working with people. Her forte is understanding people's needs and motivations. She understands the pressure sellers face when placing their home on the market and the stress buyers have in finding a place they can call home. Amy likes adding special touches inside and out to immediately draw the buyer in and entice them to want to see more of your home - from the portico to the patio.
